Who we are
Squatify is a training app for Olympic weightlifting, CrossFit and Hyrox. We are the data controller for information collected via squatify.app and the Squatify app.
Waitlist, what we collect
When you join the waitlist we store your name and email address. That is all we need to let you know when Squatify opens up.
Beta sign-up, what we collect
For the beta we ask for your name, email and phone number, plus a few sport questions: how long you have been training, your primary discipline (HYROX, CrossFit, gym or other), and competition experience (HYROX time and level, or CrossFit Open position and year). We use these answers solely to select beta testers who will genuinely put the app through its paces.
Account and subscription
When you purchase Squatify (Pro €12.99 one-time or AI €3.99 per month) we process your email, account ID and subscription status. Payments are handled by the Apple App Store or Google Play, we never see your card details, only whether your purchase or subscription is active.
How we use it
Strictly for the purpose you provided the data: waitlist notification, beta selection, managing your subscription and support. No marketing emails or newsletters without a separate opt-in. No sale to third parties, ever.
Storage and processors
Waitlist and beta sign-ups are stored in our secured backend (Lovable Cloud, hosted within the EU). The App Store and Google Play handle payments. The Squatify app itself is local-first: training data lives on your device, with optional end-to-end encrypted sync via iCloud (iOS) or Google Drive (Android). None of your training data ever touches our servers.
Retention
Waitlist data is kept until you accept an invite or unsubscribe. Beta sign-ups are kept during the beta plus six months. Subscription data is kept while the subscription is active and then for seven years to meet tax record obligations. You can request deletion at any time.
Cookies and trackers
We work with three categories: (1) Strictly necessary, always on, for language, theme and remembering your cookie choice; no consent required under EU ePrivacy rules. (2) Analytics, only after explicit consent, for anonymous visit statistics with no cross-site tracking. (3) Marketing, only after explicit consent, to measure campaigns; may set third-party cookies. Analytics and marketing cookies are off by default and are only loaded after you grant consent in the cookie banner. You can change your choice anytime via 'Cookie preferences' at the bottom of every page. The Squatify app itself contains no ads and no third-party trackers.
Your rights (GDPR)
You have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict, port and object to the processing of your data. Email support@squatify.app and we will handle your request within 30 days. You may also lodge a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority.
Security
Data is transmitted with TLS and stored encrypted. Access to personal data inside Squatify is limited to team members who strictly need it.
Changes
We may update this policy. For material changes we will notify you in the app or by email. The date at the top of this page reflects the latest change.
Questions about this policy, or a request to access or delete your data? Email us at support@squatify.app and we will respond within one business day.
